One year.

Friday night, we gathered, (we: Teresa, Annika, Brittanee and her posse (Jemie, Blaise, Chris, Brikaeli) ) we planned, we accomplished.

Mission: to tag this old blue abandoned building with some art and lovin'.

It was 10:30 when we met at the building, everyone had a task. All the girls posted up to keep watch for cop cars and/or suspicious looking vehicles. Bird calls/barks/throw up noises all practiced to a T, we were ready. The boys all stuck up the 6 foot sticker of a painting that Teresa did of her and her boy Jordan. We finished in no time flat just as 3 cop cars drove past.

Mission accomplished.

Jordan saw the next day.

Now there is just a ghost image.

Show at Phillips Gallery

Last Friday was the opening to Teresa's solo show at Phillips Gallery in SLC. What a show! Besides the wine and halloween m&m's, it was packed with art enthusiasts getting their fair share of mind blowing art. Teresa, Jonny, Amber and I posted up in the basement where her 26 peices could be viewed. (Can be viewed...the show is up for 3 more weeks) The ceiling creaked with heels and dress shoes on the main floor, slowly waltzing around socializing and art gazing. The whole event was a good 3 and a half hours, and I would say it was good time spent during Salt Lakes October gallery stroll.

Snail girl and Polar bear girl went camping

One of the last warm weekends, with the leaves turning, Teresa and boyfriend Jordan went camping at the Spruces Campground up Big Cottonwood Canyon. It was wild.

Giraffe Girl goes to the Markt

It was market day in Münster, Germany and Giraffe Girl, sick of beer and brats, was craving some fresh produce. Striking out on her own she made a few friends, saw the sights, and worked up an appetite along the way. Not, of course, without turning many heads. This girl travels in style.

Everyone wanted to stop with her for a photo op.

The real thing is preferable to these marzipan knock-offs. But they still look divine, wouldn't you say?

The number of bicycles was simply dizzying!

A short reunion with some friends-of-friends at the market.

The perfect spot to take a moment to rest and write home.

She knows which colors suit her best.

More new interns!

Jonny here again letting you know were adding two new interns to our ranks here we have the incredibly shy Rebecca. I've taken pictures of lightning before but apparently Rebecca is faster than that. Rebecca is still in high school and is going to be helping us out where she can.

We also have Amber she wants you all to know she is very rude and unruly, but it must be around other people that she act like that cause we don't notice. she is here to help with framing at the moment but will soon move on to bigger and better things.

Fashion Stroll

Hi all Jonny here

If you're reading this than you probably already knew. On september 25th there was a Stroll in the name of "Fashion". Fashion stroll they called it, I was there and so were all these nice folk. They were all gathered round to see the latest and greatest creative wearables.

Sleepictures was right there in the thick of it. a wild party with renegade models on a makeshift runway. The kinda party you don't know is happening till your friend grabs you by the arm and tosses you in. Well were your friend now stick with us we won't lead you astray.

The next party is a gallery showing of Teresa's photography at phillips gallery on 444 E. & 200 S. here in the city of salt. Come between 6 and 9 to see the driving force of Sleepictures. We will have more details and a sampling of the show in the next blog post.
